Winston Caraway, 63 of Lubbock, passed away on August 19, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1pm at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. Winston was born on April 15, 1963, to the parents of Mattie Caraway and Vester Caraway. Winston accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He graduated from Estacado High School and later attended Texas Tech University.
Winston was a loving father, brother, and cousin. Winston was well known in the community. He was the life of the party.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mattie Caraway, his father Vester Lee Caraway, and his grandmother Margreather Perkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories, six daughters Euraletta Irving (Jeremy), Jordan Caraway, Kadashia Pollard, Akara Myers, Xayla Stevens, and Yza’Nieque Hood, six sons Lawens Mann (Jessica), Jaylon Caraway, Shaquille Bogus, Kevon Mooring, Winston Caraway Jr., and Jakobe Goodgame, three brothers Cleveland-Joe Joe Caraway (Tuala), Jeff Manahan, and Ganthis Caraway, two sisters Deborah Manahan and Louise Manahan, ten grandchildren, one great granddaughter, special cousins Regina Perkins, Cassandra Duvall, Roy Perkins Jr., Micheal Moore, and Tony Johnson, a special aunt Nellie Perkins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
