On December 29, 1981, Willis James Duvall Jr. entered the world, a gift to his parents, Willis James Sr. and Meera Duvall. To those who knew him best, he was “Pete” or “Lil Willis,” a man whose laughter, loyalty, and spirit left an imprint on every life he touched. He attended and graduated from Estacado High School.
He loved his family throughout his life. He was a son, a brother, a father, a grandson, a cousin, and a friend. He was someone you could count on, someone who loved deeply, and someone whose absence will be felt in countless ways.
He now joins in rest his grandparents LeVone Sr. and Jessie Lee Henderson, and his great‑grandmother Gettie Mae Carter.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his four sons Iestyn Duvall, Isen Duvall, Kylan Duvall, and Willis Duvall III; his mother Meera Duvall; his father Willis J. Duvall Sr.; his brothers Bradley Duvall and Tyquail Duvall all of Lubbock, TX; his sisters Ka’Shondra Duvall‑Thomas (Carlo) of Arlington, TX, and Jazmine Duvall of Lamesa, TX; his grandmother Bobbie Duvall of Lubbock, TX; and his grandfather Willie Duvall Jr. (Erna) of Houston, TX; and Priscilla Love.
He is also survived by his aunts Carolyn Henderson, Velma Giddens, Rachelle Duvall, and Valorie Duvall, all of Lubbock, TX; his uncles LeVone Henderson Jr. “Jr H” (Nalisa Smith), Alphonza Duvall (Cassandra), all of Lubbock, TX, and Charles Duvall of Fort Worth, TX; his great‑aunts Bessie Young and Birdella White “Aunt Bea” both of Lubbock, TX and Mary Duvall Toney of California; his special friend Rosary Williams of Lubbock, TX; his nieces Brielle Duvall and Emery Duvall both of Lubbock, TX; Kaitlynn Duvall and MaKayla Thomas both of Arlington, TX; and Patiente Maxwell of Dallas, TX; his nephews Darion Duvall of Abernathy, TX; Bryson Duvall of Lubbock, TX; and Trelyn Maxwell of Houston, TX; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
