Webster "Bubba" Johnson, Jr.

Webster Johnson, aka Bubba, passed away on Friday August 2, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 2pm at Victory In Praise. Private Disposition follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Webster Johnson, aka Bubba, was born September 8, 1963, to Webster Johnson, Sr. and Marie Johnson in Lubbock, TX. He attended Lubbock ISD and graduated from Estacado High School.

Bubba was a jack of all trades, Bubba loved to cook, joke, work on car, and loved spending time with family. Let him tell it he was the life of the party.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents Webster, Sr. and Marie Johnson, his sister Ruby shorter, his brothers Joe Tatum, Terry Johnson, and Don Johnson.

Bubba leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Bernitha Johnson, his daughters Jenica Simmons Taylor (Cary), Shanitha Green, LaCausha Johnson, and LaSheka Green all of Lubbock, TX, his sons Webster Johnson, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX and Willie Green of Lubbock, TX, his sisters  Joyce Harvey and Wanda Robinson (Chris) both of Fort Worth, TX, his sister-in-law Helen Steward (Garry) of Lubbock, TX, his brother-in-law Nathaniel Green and Charles Green both of Lubbock, TX, his 13 grandchildren Alyjae Graves, JaCorien Wilson, Keyra, GiGi, Ty, Dezavion, Camyrea, Jamonti, Neavaeh, Nariah, NeNe, Tay, EJ, and Ashawnti, 3 great-grandchildren LaShay, Vera and Kai, and a host of other relatives and friends.
