Vonda Avis Kitchel

Vonda Avis Kitchel 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 14th, 2025 at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. 

Vonda Avis George Kitchel was born on March 26th, 1960 in Tulia, TX to Mark “Bud” George and Wynelle (Keeter) George. She attended Tulia Schools, graduating 1978. She married Bobby Kitchel in 1984. Vonda enjoyed crocheting afghans, pot holders, and was also a big fan of KISS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Gloria Denise Gastineau, 3 uncles, 1 aunt, and 2 grandkids.

She is survived by her Kristen Kitchel Jefferson of Littlefield, TX, her grandchildren Zoey Jefferson and Jocelyn Kitchel both of Post TX, her younger sister Renee Hartman of Tulia TX, her 3 nephews Zane Hartman of Juneau Alaska, Ryan Hartman of Crane TX, and Jacob Gastineau of Amarillo TX, her niece Hannah Gastineau of Willow, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
