Treshon Terrell Stokes, 31, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1 p.m. at First Progressive Baptist Church. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be ehdl Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Treshon Stokes was the oldest of 3 children between LaTrice Stokes and LaJuane Cooper, Sr.
Treshon lived music from a very early age. His first performance was at the age of 5 years old. He continued to perform all over West Texas with his dad Lajuane Cooper. Sr.
Treshon graduated from Estacado High School in 2011. He also attended a music school of Arts in Dallas, TX in 2013. Treshon was very well known in the community where the kids meant everything to him, Treshon worked and showed in the community and he was always giving to those that he could. During his career he had over 4 million followers that were faithful, even though his health failed him.
Treshon knew the Lord through his journey in rap and loved him till the bitter end. Even though he had lost his speech his smile still lit up the room you knew exactly what he was saying, his spirit was beautiful, those he came in contact with loved him with no hesitation. Whenever you encountered him you were in for a treat. He always brought smiles when he was around. Treshon lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family and fans.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Larry Stokes, great grandparents Jessie & Ethel Stokes, and great grandmother Myrtle Young.
He is survived by his mother LaTrice Stokes, father LaJuane Cooper, Sr. (Leighann), grandmother Peggy Stokes, grandfather Ruben Florence, sisters Kyaira Cooper (William Coffield), Tatishula Cooper, Destiny Cooper, Kamaria Kindred, Kameren Kindred, and Caleigh Cooper, brothers LaJuane Cooper, Jr. (Ciebla Green), Tyondrick Bass (Neisha Bass), Damarion Conwright (Ysena Salinas), DaJuane Cooper, and JaJuane Cooper, and a host of other relatives and friends.
