Tommie Lucille Ervin, 86, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11 am at Church of the Nations. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary. On August 12, 1939 in Lubbock Texas Tommie Lucille Watson was born to Thomas and Edna Watson. Tommie Lucille was a special child, a giver, a hard worker and a strong example of integrity even at an early age.

Tommie Lucille gave her life to Christ at an early age. As a young mother she served her children, her church, Lyons Chapel Baptist church under the direction of the late Reverend OD Hollins.

She was the Director over the Youth department, sang in the choir and led the outreach and homeless ministry as well as a Youth Sunday school teacher. Tommie Lucille led with love and integrity willing to work wherever needed.

She currently served as the Pastors Aid to her pastor, Ronnie D. Pegues at Triumph Missionary Baptist church in Slaton Texas.

As a young divorced mother of six beautiful children, Tommie Lucille prayed and asked God to send her a Man that would love her and her children. God in His infinite Wisdom would reach all the way to Shreveport Louisiana for such a Man. Tommie Lucille and Tommie Claude Ervin and the fearless six, would enter into the union of Holy matrimony on June 16, 1969.

While both holding individual careers, would start a family business, T&T Enterprises, where Tommie Lucille would excel as a top sales woman for companies such as Amway, Atlanta Life Insurance, Legal Shield and others becoming a city wide icon in sales. Tommie Lucille could sell anything to anybody.

Tommie Lucille was also well known for her amazing cooking and baking skills. Her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews would often request their individual cakes, pies and pastries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Edna Watson, her brother Melvin Watson, three sisters, Erma Jean Ashlock, Gloria Walker and Otha Dean Watson. Her son, Allen Gant, Her grandson, Steven Christopher Gambles II, and her great-granddaughter, Aniyah Allen.

She leaves to honor and cherish her legacy, her loving husband of 56 years, Reverend Tommie Claud Ervin, her sons, Stevie Manahan (Barbara), Tony L Gant (Darnetta) and Pastor Tory L Gant (Pastor Rita). Her daughters Brenda Gant Ussery, and Phyllis Gant Gambles. 11 grandsons, Steve Andreas Manahan, Mike Vargas, Raymond Oliver, Antwain D. Gant, Rodrick Gant, Brandon Wooten Gant, Marcus A. Gambles, Daven Gant, Alton Gant, Justice Gant, and Jireh Gant. 6 Granddaughters, Stephanie Manahan, Chelsea Manahan, TiAmber Josey-Vargas, Erica Oliver, Bralee Gant, and Miracle Gant. 17 Great-grandchildren, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews Business partners and friends.

Mrs, Tommie Lucille Ervin will be remembered and cherished as a Phenomenal, Godly woman who lived out loud knowing there was nothing she could not accomplish with God on her side, WE RISE AND CALL HER BLESSED~
