Tina Childress Andrus

Tina Childress Andrus 52 of Edgewood, Maryland, formerly of Lubbock, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Victory In Praise Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Tina was born on December 22, 1971 to Donald Ray Harris and Yvonne Childress.  She attended and graduated from Estacado High School in 1990. She received her Bachelor of Theological Studies in 2010, also received certificates in Human Services, team building, professional development and leadership empowerment. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her hobbies was reading, cooking, attending church, viewing the ocean to look at the lighthouses, and nurturing her husband, children, grandchildren, and sister. She also loved her friends and church family! She is preceded in death by her mother Yvonne Childress, father Donald Ray Harris, maternal grandparents Arthur Lee and Margie Harris, paternal grandparents John Henry and Katherine Childress. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband Robin Dean Andrus, daughters Seleta Andrus, Adreana A. Davis, and Jasmine Andrus-Lynn, sons DeMetrick Jamal Washington, DeMichael DeKeise Washington, Kelin Jerome Fulsom, and Jordan DeSean Lilly, sister Cathy Marie Childress, grandchildren Kimora Jhené Fulsom, and Solana Rose-Marie Fulsom, a host of other relatives and friends.
