Timothy Darrell Hereford "Big 50"

Timothy Darrell Hereford, 61, departed this life on Sunday, August 6th, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, August 18th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Viewing will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Griffin Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m. Timothy D. Hereford was born on January 20th, 1962, to Clifton Hereford and Eunice Sowells in Lubbock, TX.
Tim graduated from Estacado High School in 1980. Family and friends call him “Big 50.”
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Hereford and Eunice Sowells; one son, Zamar Hereford.
Tim leaves to cherish his memory; five sons, Willie Hardrick (Kristi), O’Brien Green (Katrenia), Xavier Jackson, Trayton Hereford, and Zamarion Rivas; one bonus mother, Ola Mae Draper; three sisters, Yolanda White, Cherry Porter, and Barbara Draper; three brothers, Henry Hereford, Anthony Hereford, and Scotty Hereford; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
