Sydia Jaye-Ann Nelson

Sydia Jaye-Ann Nelson, 2 months, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. During her short time here on Earth, she touched many lives and was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on forever. 

Sydia is the daughter of Jamal Nelson, Geneice Robison and Charles Forkpa of Lubbock. She is survived by her grandmother, Barbara Robinson, sisters Tyeasha Horton, and Catherine Forkpa, brothers Daqualien and Kristopher Robinson, a handful of other siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
