Silena Jackson

Silena Jackson passed peacefully at Covenant Medical Center on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. at the age of 73. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at 11 am at Inside Out Baptist Church. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Ms. Silena Ann Jackson aka “Angel Cato” was born November 28th, 1952, to Pearlina Chase & Arthur B. Chase in Lubbock TX.

Silena will be preceded in death by her parents and 3 children Audra Green, Cornelius Green, & William Green. Silena was also preceded in death by her siblings William E Chase, Glenda Chase, Wanda chase & Larry Chase. 

Silena is survived by her 3 children Angela Green, Tamalge Green & Wilton Green. Silena had 33 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 God Child. She will truly be missed by her surviving siblings Carolyn Chase, Jacqueline Green, James Green, Gerald Lewis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Silena was loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend to many. Silena loved to party, dress and decorate and be with family. Silena had a smile to light up any room .and was joy to be around. Silena took pride in her family, appearance, and attending church
