Shelia Marie Mitchell, 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Visitations will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 12 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Shelia was born to Raymond Mitchell, Sr. and Dorothy Askew on January , 18, 1969. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Jean Askew and Raymond Mitchell, Sr.; grandparents, Raymond and Mary Spencer; one brother, Raymond Mitchell, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory; special friend, Van Norris; two daughters, Ambrosia Mitchell and Vanessa Mitchell; one son-in-law, Eugene Henry, Sr.; one sister, Doria Ward; brother-in-law, Dion Ward, Sr.; four grandchildren, Da'najha M. Jeffery, Devron M. Jeffery, Eugene R. Henry, Jr., and Queen M. Henry; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
