Sharon Renae Johnson

Sharon Renae Johnson, 61, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Sharon Renae Johnson was born on July 14, 1964 to Annie Bess McGuire and Ocie Franklin. Sharon was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, always putting others' needs before her own. Her bright smile, compassionate heart and infectious laughter touched everyone she met.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother Annie Bess McGuire, her brother Otis Franklin, and her husband James Walter Johnson Jr.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memory,  her daughter DaQuisha Busby (Travis), her son James Walter Johnson, the 3rd daughter Tykeedra Johnson (Ad’Lean), her grandchildren Shardane (Rhdon), David (Gianna), and Nicolas, her great grandchildren Z’Kay, Au’ron, and Kaylani, her father Ocie Franklin, her sister Cheryl Walker (Michael), her nieces Teondra and Mariah Walker, her nephew Terry Madina, her great nephew Messiah Walker, her sister-in-laws Barbara Johnson Sterling, Jacqueline Johnson King, and Sherie Johnson, brother-in-laws Richard Charles Johnson (Allison), Kenneth Darren Johnson, and Tommy Lee Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
