Sedric McNeal

Sedric Lashone McNeal, 50, passed away on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at 1 pm at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Sedric Lashone McNeal was born to Gerald Wayne Walker and Lonnie Jill McNeal on April 3, 1975 in Lubbock, Texas. Sedric attended Lubbock public schools. He was currently employed with the City of Amarillo and was previously employed with Lubbock Citibus as a Mechanic, Potatoe Specialty and was also self employed as owner of Nu Look Mobile Car Wash and Detailing.

Anyone that ever met Sedric would never forget his great sense of humor, infectious smile and love for his family. He greatly loved his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and friends playing dominoes and socializing. Sedric was very protective of his family.

He is predeceased by his father Gerald Wayne Walker, grandparents Helen and Leo Thomas, grandfather Frank Williams, Sr., grandfather Aaron Blackwell, great grandparents Judge and Alice McNeal, Albert Walker and Gladys Moore. Uncles Reginald Jones, Jessie B Stevenson, II and Rickey Stevenson. Special cousins Jessie B. Stevenson, III and Shone Stevenson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion Krystle Alonso, mother Jill Walker, grandmother Alice Blackwell, his children - son Enunte' Humphrey (Alexus) of Lubbock, Texas, daughters Arion White-McNeal of Grand Prairie, Texas and K'aliyah Kaylani McNeal of Amarillo, Texas. Grandsons Jayvion Humphrey, Damian Humphrey, Enunte' Humphrey, Jr., Tristian Humphrey, Kashton Humphrey and Kaevon Humphrey, granddaughter Jayla Humphrey. His brothers Natrion McNeal, Quinton Walker (Shaniqua) Joshua Walker (Elissa) all of Lubbock, Texas and Jerrad Darty (Tiara) of Houston, Texas. A host of special nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
