Santos Escobedo 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Visitations will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary and celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Santos was born on October 30, 1959, to Elvira and Andres Escobedo. Santos enjoyed gardening, he loved his adult beverages, softball, watching wrestling, and western shows/movies. He loved to dance when he was able. He was a hardworking man. He loved farming. He worked until he no longer could. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Above all he loved his kids whole heartedly. He tried to be funny. He only understood his jokes, but made you laugh anyhow, He loved to cook out on nice days. He loved his dogs, maybe even more than his kids. He didn’t have much, he didn’t need much, he didn’t want much. He had all he needed. He was a simple man.
Santos is preceded in death by his parents Elvira and Andres Escobedo, brother Domingo Escobedo and Frankie Escobedo, sisters, Frances Aguilar and Rosa Villarreal.
Santos leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Crystal Santistevan and Pamela Escobedo, son Santos Escobedo, Jr., sister Sylvia Galvan, brothers Andrew Escobedo, George Escobedo, Gilbert Escobedo, and Jose Escobedo, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
