Ruby Lorainne Dial, 66 of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Greater St. Luke Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Ruby was the second child born to Bill and Willie B. Dial on March 4, 1957. She excelled in many things in life. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and loved all things child related. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of the Greater Saint Luke Baptist Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Willie B. Dial but leaves to mourn her memory 2 sisters: Edwina Bell of Fort Worth, Texas and Willie Ann Woodard (Wendell) of San Antonio, Texas, 2 nephews: Marques Jones (Tatiana) of Aviano AFB, Italy, and Triston Bell (Jaimee) of Fort Worth, TX, and 3 nieces: RaShea Bell of Fort Worth, Alexis Douglas, Janea Woodard both of San Antonio, TX, 2 great nieces, Jada and Kinsley, and a great nephew, Greyson, all of Fort Worth, TX. She also leaves to mourn a host of valuable relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
