Roy Lee Stroud aged 75 years passed away suddenly on the evening of June 16th. Roy grew up and was a life long native of the South Plains and called Lubbock home for over five decades. He graduated from Coronado High School and worked at the old Equipment Service Company on Buddy Holly Ave until his retirement servicing cotton gins all around the area. He loved fishing, golf, traveling with his wife and all things Texas Tech sports. His heart was his grandchildren and supported them in all of their endeavors.
Preceded in death by his father, sister Vicky, and sons Zachary, Alex and Ryan.
He is survived by his loving wife Bobbi Britton-Stroud, his biological children Nikoah, Tasha and husband Chase and Capri and wife Alicia, his bonus children Michelle and husband Dylan and Christopher and wife Ashley. Grandchildren Chyane, Mist, Leif, Braedon, Jude, Andi, Brooklyn, Brynlee and great granddaughter Anya. His mother Dorthy and sisters Kathy and husband David and Nita and partner Terry.
He will be remembered on July 25th at 11:30 am at the Hodges Community Center. The family is so happy that he was able to help others even in death through LifeGift.
