Roderick Daryl Keys a.k.a. Pops, 59 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, august 12, 2024, at 12 noon at Vandelia Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 6pm to 7pm at Griffin Mortuary.

Roderick Daryl Keys was born in Tulsa Oklahoma to Dwight Caine and Ivory Green on January 25, 1965, but then moved to Lubbock Texas, where he was raised. Roderick attended Roosevelt high school, and graduated, he then went off to college, where he attended Lubbock Christian University also Abilene Christian University and graduated. He then enlisted in the Army and served his country from 1984 to 1987.

Roderick Keys then met the love of his life Auralia in 1989, she brought in four children, and they built a family of 12.

 Roderick loved spending time with his family like cooking and coaching his sons in Little League baseball and basketball and was also a DJ at a popular nightclub, called Crystals. He was there for many years and DJ at many locations throughout his career.

Pops loved the Dallas Cowboys. If you knew him, you know he was a diehard fan and couldn't tell him nothing. His other hobbies include music, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends every day.

 He Is preceded in death by his father Dwight Caine and his mother Ivory Green also his younger brother Terry Keys and his son Roderick Keys Jr and Mariah Keys.

 He is survived by his wife Auralia Keys of 35 years, and he leaves behind 11 children Roxanne Franco, Jesse, Franco, Lori Franco, Jessica Franco, Crystal Franco, Ebony Keys, Anthony Keys, Jared Keys, Selena Keys, Destiny Keys and Melanie Smith, his brother Anthony Keys, also 22 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many family and friends.
