Robert David Swain

Robert David Swain, 42, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 6, 2026 at 1pm at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Robert David Swain was a loving son, father, grandson, cousin, brother, and nephew. He will be deeply missed.

He was loved by many and would give you the shirt off his back. As of Proverbs 10:12 says, “Hatred stirreth up strifes: But love covereth all sins.” We love and miss you little David. He accomplished his equivalency Degree with honors.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert David Johnson Sr.

Robert is survived by his mother Elaine Swain Garrett (Norman), his daughters Elaina Swain, Rose Marie Swain, Robin Daviona Swain, and angelica anneice Swain, his sons Robert David Swain Jr. and Michael Swain, his sisters Roquel Dwaineete Johnson, and Misty Cherelle Johnson, his niece Sandtashia Monroe, and a host of other relatives and friends.
