Parris William Douglas Smith

Parris Williams Douglas Smith, 24, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Parris was born to Darion Hyche Smith and Douglas Smith. He graduated from Hattiesburg High in 2020 in Hattiesburg, MS and he also attended Mississippi State. He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan. He would give the shirt off his back and help anyone. He wore his big heart on his sleeve.

He was preceded in death by his mother Darion Hyche-Smith, grandfather Charles Hyche and aunt Doris Ward (grandmother).

He leaves his beloved family soulmate Dezray Irvin, daughter Londynn Smith, his father Douglas Smith, mother Tisha Adams-Smith, sisters Chyna Thrasher and Assia Hyche. Grandmothers Berniece Hyche, Virginia Ann Smith and Patricia Adams. Great Uncle Richard Ward and niece Cambri Brister and nephew Jacyion Hyche and a host of many relatives and friends.
