Moises Ramirez Baltazar "Taz"

Moises “Taz” Ramirez Baltazar, Jr., 53, passed away on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025. Celebration of life Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10 am at Cowboy Church of the South Plains. Visitations will be held Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Griffin Mortuary. 

Moises was born on June 19th, 1972, in Weslaco, Texas. Moises was the beloved son of Moises, Sr. and Lupe Baltazar. Moises was known for his infectious smile and his vibrant personality, he was truly the life of the party.

He cherished his family deeply and made it a point to attend every family event, even if it was just a quick pop-in to make his presence; he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Moises is survived by his loving parents, Moises, Sr and Lupe Baltazar, three devoted sisters Leticia Rivera, Miriam Casares, and Luptia Baltazar, six brothers Rey Baltazar, Daniel Baltazar, Juan Baltazar, Juan Velasquez, Jose Baltazar, and Sergio Velasquez and he leaves a large family and many friends who will carry his memory
