Melvin Hall, Jr. 71, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Melvin Hall, Jr. was born September 18, 1952, to Melvin Hall, Sr. and Minnie M. Hall. He attended and graduated from Seminole High School, went on to obtain his associates at Cisco Jr. college and his bachelor’s from Paul Quinn College. He then went on to teach school for Levelland ISD. Thereafter he worked for Flemming’s, United, and retired from Llano with service over 35 years.
Melvin loved sports, watching football, and coaching his grandson in football and basketball. His favorite scripture was John 14:1-3. He touched the lives of many, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Melvin is preceded in death by his parents Melvin, Sr. and Minnie M. Hall, and niece Teresa Hall.
Melvin leaves behind to cherish his memory, his spouse Carolyn Jackson, his stepdaughters Danyelle Jackson and Bobbi Jackson, his son Gabriel Hall (Brittany), stepson Tabatdrick McNeal (Trachia), his sister Vera Harris, His brothers Frank Hall and Jimmie Hall, his grandchildren Mackenzie Hall, Aanyiah Hawkins, Jerzee Walker, Torrae Green, Jayxian Washington, and Bailey Johnson, his nieces Regina Hall and Sherry Lusk, his nephews Tony L. Hall and Michael Hall, and a host of other relatives and friends.
