Mary Ann Wallace, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at 1 pm at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. Mary Wallace was born on May 2nd,1950 to Clyde and Ella Marie Terrell. Mary Wallace’s favorite color was blue. She loved to go shopping and out to eat. She loved to dance “cut the rus” and loved spending time with family and friends.

Mary was a mother to all and took care of many children. She had a smile and laugh like no other and the purest soul. She was loved by many people and she still is. She lived a long and wonderful life. Forever gone but never ever forgotten.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother Ella Marie Terrell, her father Clyde Terrell, grandmother Rosie Lee William Vanhook, her husband Jim Wallace, her sisters Deborah Johnson and Angela Terrell, her niece Latosha Terrell, and uncle Kenneth Watson.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Akasha Ivery, her son James Edward Clark (Shelly), her brothers Clyde Terrell, Jr, and Torrice Terrell, her grandchildren Dra’la Willard, Jaymez Jamar Clark, Janiquia Coleman, Na’Kyia Ivery, Ki’are Humphrey, and Janyriah Coleman, her niecesAntranette Terrell, Qunisha Terrell, Cameosha Terrell, Victoria Hopkin, Veronica Hopkin, and Valencia Hopkin, her nephews Victor Terrell, LaQuan Terrell, Ladarius Terrell, and Victor Hopkins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
