Maria de la Luz Garcia, 76, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. Viewing will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Iglesia Del Dios Vivo Cristo Viene, followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 3 pm. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Maria Limon Garcia was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico to the late Juan and Estela Limon Rodriguez. She loved talking to her family and friends, she was a homemaker, loved her church, and loved to cook for her family. She married Leopoldo Garcia on May 31st, 1979.

She is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Estela Limon Rodriguez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Leopoldo Garcia, her children Polo Garcia (Rosalba) and Luis Garcia (Valerie), her grandchildren Karla (Eric) Johnson, Monica (Mario) Hinojosa, Angel Garcia, Arlet Garcia, Jeremiah Garcia, Jahlyn Diaz, Jahden Garcia, and Luis-Jahven Garcia, her great grandchildren Ariana, Jordan, Skylar, Rey, Roman, Kyriee, and Kahlani, her siblings Nidia Estela Rodriguez (Enrique), Yolanda Rodriguez (Cesar), Juan Jose Rodriguez (Angelica), and Raul Rodriguez (Maria), and a host of other relatives and friends.
