Marguerite "Margaret" Cleveland

Ms. Marguerite “Margaret” Cleveland, 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 24th, 2025, at 11 am at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Marguerite Cleveland was the only child of the late Roosevelt and Doris Cleveland. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on February 21st, 1964. She attended early school at Posey, Alderson schools and later graduated from Coronado High School. Margaret accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at 20th and Birch Church of Christ and later placed membership at Manhattan Heights Church of Christ. She worked as a caterer and hostess for the Lubbock Civic Center. Margaret was a very meek and loving person willing to help anyone in need when she could.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Doris Juanita Cleveland.

Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brothers and sisters in Christ as well as a host of cousins, who will miss her dearly.
