Loretta Tavie Johnson

Loretta Tavie Johnson, 40 of Lubbock, departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Griffin Mortuary from 2 to 4 p.m. Loretta Johnson was born on October 10, 1982, to Theresa Washington and Darrell Morris, Sr. 
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Argusta and Johnnie Johnson; father, Darrell Morris, Sr.; three brothers, Eddie Johnson, Dyore Johnson, and Mark Morris; two sisters, Katherine Johnson and Jakie Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Theresa Washington of Lake Worth, TX; three sons, Zachariah Frazier, Trashod Willis and Kashton Willis all of Lubbock, TX; three sisters, Alicia Johnson of Lubbock, TX; MarQuita Johnson of Fort Worth, TX; and Billie Morris Sullivan of Coatesville, PA; five brothers, Clifton Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Eric Morris all of Lubbock, TX; Quintin Morris of Coatesville, PA; Darrell Morris, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
