Linda Kay Cole

Linda Kay Cole, 68 of Lubbock, departed this life on Monday, July 3rd, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Linda Kay Cole was born on May 13, 1955, in Weatherford, TX to Marcus Whitehead and Audra Fontenot. She married Dean Cole and together they had three children. Linda loved life, her family, and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Whitehead and Audra Fontenot. Linda is survived by her   children, Chris Cole of Aspermont; Tracie Cole (Shayne Seen) and Jennifer Cole-Sax both of Lubbock, TX; her five grandchildren, Akira Cole, Brazos Cole, Chiam Sax, Russell Sax, and Lilah Cole; her siblings, Judy Etkins, DeWayne Whitehead, Sheran, and Ronnie Whitehead; her niece, Charlotte, nephews, Robbie, Donnie, Keith, and Billy; a host of other relatives and friends.
