Latosha F. Patterson, 50, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1 pm at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held from 4pm to 5pm at Griffin Mortuary.
Latosha was born February 20, 1976, to two loving and caring parents, Thelma and Lawrence Sanders in Lubbock, TX. Latosha Was raised with her older sister Rocheal. Latosha attended and graduated Estacado High School. Latosha was the mother of 6 children. She was “Big Heart and Big Fight,” married to Zerdell Patterson. Latosha was a loving and caring person full of love and laughter.
Latosha will be greeted in Glory by her grandfather Marshall Willard, her father Lawrence Sanders, her daughter Zykeria Sanders, and her sister Patricia Sanders.
Latosha enjoyed her kids, her husband, her family, and her dogs. She also enjoyed cooking and eating. At a young age Latosha accepted Christ.
Latosha leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Thelma Sanders Grant, her sister Rocheal, a loving husband Zerdell Patterson, her 6 children Chassidy, Devon, Rycazakja, Dar’Kies, Keyvion, and Kamira, 7 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mama, we don’t understand this yet. We were not ready for you to be gone. We wish we could have one more laugh, one more story, and one more hug. We love you and hope that you are at peace. Until we all meet again. We’re going to carry you in our hearts everyday.
