LaTonya Holland, 51, was called to her Heavenly Home on July 27, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. LaTonya Holland was born on January 20, 1975 to Evelyn Moeujuku and Tommy Lee Collins. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. LaTonya was a loving individual who cared for others, especially family. She had two older brothers Alfonso and Curtis Holland. She was a mother, wife, sister, gigi, cousin, and much moree. LaTonya graduated from Monterey High School and attended South Plains College.
LaTonya met Anson Lyons during high school and have been together for over thirty years. Togther they took in and raised her cousins as their own. It was nearly impossible for her to bear children, but God granted a miracle, on March 8th, 2005, LaTonya and Anson welcomed Aniyah Lyons to the world. LaTonya lived through many memories of get togethers, graduations, and spending time with her many grandkids.
LaTonya is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Moeujuku, her son Cedric Holland, and her brother Curtis Holland.
LaTonya leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Anson Lyons, her father Tommy Lee Collins, her daughters Aniyah Lyons, Roslyn Patton, and Isha Coleman, her sons Terrance Coleman, Colby Coleman, and Shandon Coleman, her brother Alfonso Holland, and a host of other relatives and friends.
