Larry Williams, 65, passed away on March 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Larry “Jap” Williams was born October 13, 1960, to the parentage of Margaret and Robert Lee Williams in Plainview, Texas. He graduated from Estacado High School. Larry enjoyed talking to people; he never met a stranger. He was very charismatic and was blessed with the gift of gab. During his lifetime, he worked for Yellow Cab and the Lubbock General Surgery Department and McLane. He had an eye for fashion and style. He loved beautiful things and capturing beautiful objects. His passion was photography. He was loving known as the “Picture Man” and was quite the ladies man. He loved to travel, he had a strong work ethic, he believed in being present and on time. He loved to clean and listen to old school. He loved his childen and instilled so many life lessons to all.
Larry is preceded in by his parents Margaret and Robert Williams, 6 brothers Wayne Williams, Robert Williams, Freddie Williams, Russell, David, and Gary Williams, and his daughter LaShaunda D. Cash.
Larry is survived by one sister Rochelle Williams, one brother Kimothy Williams, three daughters LaShayla Washington, Tominesha Williams, and Annalishia, one grandson Cory, five granddaughters Trinity, Coryah, Janiyah, Paris, and Tyanna, and a host of other relatives and friends.
