Kevin John Sullivan, 77, of Lubbock, Texas passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Fresno, California, on May 22, 1948, Kevin graduated from Fresno High School, and later, California State University of Fresno. He wore many hats throughout his career, working 28 years in the Hospitality Industry and 10 years in the Banking Industry, including his time at the Yosemite National Park and in the US Air Force as an Airman 3rd Class, receiving an Honorable Discharge.
Throughout his life, Kevin had always enjoyed playing sports, traveling around the world, attending concerts, and watching sports. In addition to these pastimes, his most recent years consisted of playing pickleball, taking walks, and riding his bike. Over the course of his life, Kevin often enjoyed skiing and playing golf, basketball, and baseball. Kevin was a long-time member of the Burgess-Rushing Tennis Center, playing tennis and pickleball, as well as taking his grandchildren, Miko and Demi, to participate in various tennis events during their childhood. He also went to countless concerts at the Cactus Theater alongside his wife, Francoise Sullivan. Further, Kevin stayed up to date on the latest sports news regarding anything T exas T ech Red Raiders, and California teams like the San Francisco 49ers and Giants. He enjoyed doing many of these activities with his family and friends, including his best friends, Ron Woods and Dave Colby.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Francoise, and his daughter, Heather, and Heather’s children, Lauren and Amanda. He is also survived by his step-son and step-daughter, Michel and Mimi, along with Mimi’s children, Miko and Demi. Kevin treated Michel and Mimi like his own children, and Demi and Miko as his own grandchildren. Finally, Kevin is survived by his brother and sister, Patricia “DeeDee ” Goodman and Mark Sullivan.
Kevin will be remembered for his gregarious personality, love of life, and adoration of his family. He was kind and generous to every soul that stepped in his path. His laughter and stories were gifts to anyone and everyone in his life. Kevin’s love and legacy will live on through those lucky enough to have known him.
