Joshua Van Buren Coefield, 85, departed this life on Monday, August 7th, 2023. Visitation will be held Friday, August 25th, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 pm at Griffin. Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. It is with great sadness & heartbreak to announce the passing of Mr. Joshua Van Buren Coefield. Joshua loved hard. He was an excellent cook, a trait that he passed on to his loved ones. Joshua will be remembered & missed by all that he touched and can finally rest peacefully as his journey on the earth has been fulfilled. 
He is Preceded in death by his mother (Mama Fert) & step father (Uncle Shooter) late wife Jessie Mae Coefield, sis and Brother in Law Nell & Joe Smith & daughter Algia Kay Irvin. 
He is survived by his 4 daughters 2 sons and step son Pamer Vernett Coefield & Savannah Marie Coefield from a previous relationship and Brian Keith  Coefield ,Michael Todd Coefield ,Shannon Dionne Coefield & Jerry Bernard Roberson(step son) he also has several grandchildren & great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
