Jose Trevino Rangel

Jose Trevino Rangel, 54, departed this life into eternal life Monday, April 21st, 2025. Viewing will be held Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m at Griffin Mortuary and Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin mortuary. Jose T. Rangel was born December 20th, 1970, to Matilde Rangel and Josefina T Sanchez. He was a humble man and down to earth person, always joking and had a big smile on his face. He was a sports fanatic, lived his life to the fullest. He loved his beloved son, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was a firm believer in his Faith and loved the LORD.

Jose is preceded in death by his father Matilde Rangel.

Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Josefina T. Sanchez, his son Joseph I. Rangel, his sisters Betty Jean Cardenas, Leonora Rangel, Maria S. Hernandez, and Ricarda S. Faz, his brothers Raul Rangel and George T, Sanchez, Jr., his grandchildren Joseph I. Rangel, Jr., Rosalynn B. Rangel, Aurora Casias, and Gabriel Ballesteros, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
