Johnny Willie Brantley, 83, departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Visitations will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Griffin Mortuary Chapel from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Johnny Brantley was born to Mr. Willie and Mrs. Viola Brantley on November 22, 1939, in Wyoming, TX. He enjoyed painting, coloring, and fishing. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie and Mrs. Viola Brantley, his brothers, Jessie Earl Brantley, Bobby Dail Brantley, and Willie Earl Brantley. He leaves to cherish his memory; his son, Walon Brantley; his sisters, Willie Viola Brantley, Savanah Brantley River, Annie L. Brantley Williams, Bernice Brantley Donbor, Marry Brantley Oliver, and Rosie Marie Brantley; a host of other relatives and friends.
