Anthony O'Brien Taylor

Anthony O’Brien Taylor, 49 of Lubbock,  passed away peacefully on February 14th, 2023, at Lubbock Health Care Center in Lubbock, Texas. Visitations will be held 4-6 pm today, February 22, 2023 at Griffin Mortuary. Private disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. He was born December 15th, 1973, in Wharton, Texas to Patricia Sanders and Peter Foreman. He attended Bay City Public Schools. He had his own janitorial business for 20 years. Anthony truly lived life to the fullest through chatting, snacking, and watching sports with his family and friends. He married Stacie Smith on January 16th, 2016, in Bay City, Texas and remained married until his death. Anthony is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Taylor; his grandmother, Ida Taylor; and grandfather, Robert Kyles, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Stacey Williams; his son, Kristopher Taylor; his two daughters, Aaliyah Taylor and Makayla Taylor; his two stepsons, Jermaine Smith and Jabaar Smith; his brother, Bassey Taylor; his grandmother, Josephine Kyles; his uncle, Robert Kyles, Jr.; his four aunts, Barbara Kyles, Denise Kyles, Sandra Patterson, and Josie Kyles; a host of other relatives and friends.
