Jimmy Alcorte "Jimbo"

Jimmy Alcorte “Jimbo”, 65 of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on March 7th, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 14th, 2024 at 1 pm at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at Griffin Mortuary from 12 p.m to 6 p.m. and rosary will follow at 6 p.m. Jimbo was born March 7th, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas to Pedro Alcorte and Andrea Briseno.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Pete Alcorte, Sr. and Andrea Briseno, brother Pete Alcorte, Jr.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his stepmother Dalia Alcorte, daughter Angela Alcorte, daughter-in-law Mandy Alcorte, son Jimmy Alcorte, Jr., son-in-law Rocky Ojeda, sisters Sally Rodriguez, Linda Sierra, and Rachel Flores, brothers Tony Alcorte and Omar Alcorte, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
