Ida Bell Brinson

Ida Bell Brinson, 88, departed this life on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 28th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Ida Bell Brinson was born on August 28th, 1935, to the late Carrie Evans and Sell Evans. She loved to play bingo, liked fishing, and sold Avon. She worked at the Lubbock State School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and Sell Evans; four brothers; and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory; 2 daughters, Gwen Taylor and Marilyn McEachin; 2 sons, Lloyd Christman and Leonard Burn, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
