Howard Daniel Ward, 77, departed this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Brownfield, Texas. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Howard D. Ward was born on January 22, 1946, to Dorothy Ward. He is preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Ward; his wife, Ella Harrell Ward; and his son, Christopher Dawn. He leaves to cherish his memory; his daughters, Deloris Mackey, Vickie Lawrence, DeShawn Ward, and Raven Dawn; his brother, Leroy Ward; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces, three nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
