Guadalupe "Lupe" Jaimes

Guadalupe “Lupe” Jaimes, age 53, was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished member of her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, loving spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grace Church South. A Celebration of Life Service will follow immediately after the viewing. Private disposition will be under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.

Lupe treasured spending time with her family, who were always at the center of her life. She had a strong faith and enjoyed attending church. She also found great joy in cooking, sharing delicious meals as a way of expressing her love and care for those she held dear.

Lupe was preceded in death by her father, Jose Monjaras. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Ernesto Jaimes; her only daughter, Juleeza Jaimes; and her sons, Ezequiel Jaimes and Valentino Jaimes. She is also survived by her mother, Josefina Hernandez Monjaras; her sisters, Teresa Cruz and Josefina Suarez; brother-in-law, Jesus Suarez; her brothers, Jose Jr. Monjaras and Jonathan Monjaras; 13 nieces and nephews; and 18 great- nieces and great-nephews. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Though her time with us was far too short, Lupe’s love will remain forever in the hearts of her family. Her memory will live on through the family she loved so deeply, the meals she lovingly prepared, the faith she shared, and the many beautiful memories she created.

Guadalupe “Lupe” Jaimes will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
