Viewing will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Broadway Church of Christ, and Celebration of Life Service will immediately at 1 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 1 pm at Abilene National Cemetery, Abilene under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.

Covenant Medical Security Department for over 10 years.
Departed this life: February 23, 2025 at Covenant Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his mother Alganech Mirach Sargent, maternal grandmother Awatash Abraha, maternal grandfather Mirach Dirrar, paternal grandmother Myrtle E. Sargent, and paternal grandfather Alvin J Sargent, Sr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Krista L. Sargent, his father Alvin J. Sargent, Jr., his daughters Brittani M. Sargent, Chasidy S. Gibson, Kayla N. Gibson, Saydie S. Sargent, and Zanyah R. Sargent, his sisters Ethiopia L. Mallory, his brother-in-law Eric Mallory, his grandchildren Isaiah sargent, Andrick Flowers, Jr., Christian Flowers, Arianna Cofere, and Matthew Lowry, his niece Leila Simone Mallory, his nephew Omar James Mallory, and a host of other relatives and friends.
