Gary Dale Parker

Gary Dale Parker, lovingly known as "Pawpaw," entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born in Muskogee, OK to the late George Blankenship and Mary (Callinham) Parker on April 11, 1951. Gary graduated from Macalister High School and married the love of his life, Doris Smith on August 28, 1980. Gary worked for Galbert Steel until retirement. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and had a passion for football. He loved his family and friends and cherished every moment spent with them. Gary had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. In his eyes strangers did not exist, he was greatly loved by all his family and friends.  He leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter, Crystal Johnston (Kevin Simpson); six grandchildren, Autumn Smith, Christopher Trevino, Amy Johnston, Vernon Dale Watkins, Colt Simpson, and Madisyn Simpson; his sister, Reva Swinney; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
