Frankie Lee Cox, 75, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Viewing will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 12pm-2pm at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Frankie Lee Cox was a local vendor in Fort Worth, Texas, where he sold fine antiques at the Fort Worth Flea Market. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominos with Donnie Sr. as his teammate, playing Farke with Tasha, playing card games and was a ches master. He enjoyed watching drag racing shows with Don and Lisa Dowdy.
Uncle Frankie never met a stranger. He left his mark wherever his feet landed. He lived by his favorite saying, “see you later, quit givin, gon on now!!!”
Uncle Frankie will be truly missed by loved ones and friends. Though his presence is absent, he will live forever in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his Rev. Samuel Cox, his mother Gussie Niel Cox, his brothers Samuel Cox Jr., Will Cox, and Early Cox, his sisters Shirley Cox, Christene Cox, Nancy Cox, and Gloria Sims (Herbert), his grandson Michar Harrison Jr,
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Brenda Washington Parks (Donnell), his son Carlos Harris, his grandchild Kendale Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.
