Frank G. Brown

Frank G. Brown, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Griffin Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and celebration of life service will follow at 1 p.m. at Westside Cemetery, Lorenzo, TX under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Frank G. Brown earned his wings and went home to be our Father in Heaven on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born to Johnny and Everlena Brown on April 10, 1938. He moved to West Texas in 1945 with his parents and other siblings. Frank was better known as “Honey”, “Uncle Honey”, and “Cookie Man”.  He was a talker; loved to have conversations and occupied a lot of his time drawing, playing the guitar, and stripping copper wire. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo, TX. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Freddie Lee Brown, Lester Brown, Leonard Brown, Washington Brown, Albert Brown, Carl Brown, and John Brown; one sister, Rose Marie Hankson. He leaves to cherish his memory; his brother, Joe W. Brown (Archie) of Lubbock, Texas; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
