Felicia Gail Jordan, age 62, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on April 5, 2026. Celebration Life Service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 1 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. She was born on October 27, 1963, in Waco, Texas, to Tyree Woodard Sr. and Annie Ruth Woodard. Felicia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1978. She carried her faith with strength and grace throughout her life. Her faith guided her words, her actions, and the way she cared for others. She found comfort in her beliefs and shared that peace with those around her, offering encouragement, kindness, and understanding. She lived her life as a reflection of her faith, always striving to uplift others and remain steadfast through every season. She graduated from Estacado High School in 1981.
Felicia devoted her life to caring for others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. As the owner and operator of her own daycare, she lovingly nurtured and guided countless children and supported their families with compassion and dedication. She also spent over 18 years as a respected kitchen manager at McDonald’s, where her strong work ethic and leadership earned her the admiration of coworkers and community members alike until her retirement.
Felicia had a true passion for cooking and entertaining, always bringing people together with her warmth and generosity. She enjoyed dressing up, embracing life with style and joy, and cherished the time she spent traveling—whether on adventures with her siblings or quiet getaways with her beloved husband. Her vibrant spirit and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Felicia was known as a protector, provider, motivator, and caregiver. She had a heart for helping others and never turned away anyone in need. Her love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Felicia was also a proud and loving grandmother who found immense joy in her grandchildren. She supported them wholeheartedly, celebrated their accomplishments, and cherished every moment spent with them. Her warmth, guidance, and unwavering love made a lasting impact on their lives, and she took great pride in watching them grow.
Above all, Felicia was incredibly proud of her boys, who were the center of her world and her greatest accomplishments.Every decision she made in her life was for the betterment of her boys. She spoke of them with endless love and admiration, always encouraging them to be strong, kind, and determined. Everything she did was with them in mind, and she found her greatest joy in watching them grow and succeed. Her love lives on through them, in their resilience, their character, and the care she gave them every single day.
Felicia is preceded in death by her father Tyree Woodard, her mother Annie Woodard, her grandmother Ruthie Moore, her sisters Vergie Perkins and LaWanda Walker.
Felicia is survived by her husband Danny Jordan, her sons Kavin Woodard (Jennifer) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Frederick Jordan, and Corian Jordan both of Lubbock, TX; her grandchildren Tamia Jordan, Giavonni Woodard, Jada Woodard, Devin Jordan, Kaiyson Jordan, Avery Jordan, and Jayden Hibbler. Her memory will also be deeply honored by LaVonda Bowens-Woodard and Stephanie Manahan, the mothers of her grandchildren, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of friendship and family, her brothers Roy Perkins Sr. and Tyree Woodard Sr. (Belinda), her sisters Chloe Purifoy, Brenda Taylor, Loneta Hall (Anthony), and Roxie Bailey (Tim), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
