Evie Jean Hudson, 64, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2 pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Lorenzo. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Evie Jean Roberts was born to AJ and Lillian Roberts on July 12, 1961 in Crosbyton, TX. Evie attended nursing school and always tried to find ways to help others. She was a Medical Assistant. She loved helping others and nursing . She loved to cook. She was a member of Southern Baptist. She was loving and caring. She always loved to sing and cook, playing dominoes with family and friends.

Evie is preceded in death by her parents Aj and Lillian Roberts.

Evie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Jerome and Pearl McCaddon, Silas and Victoria McCaddon, Abraham and Jermaine Roberts, her 9 grandchildren, her 2 great grandchildren, her siblings AJ Roberts, Bobby Roberts, Eva Mae Roberts, Raymond Roberts and Dianae Guzman, Plez Roberts and Barbara Huey, Timmy Roberts, Pam Roberts and Preston, Will and Rene Compton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
