Eurlean Phillips

Eurlean Phillips, of Lubbock at the age of 97, passed away on Thursday, February 20,2025.Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lyons Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. visitations will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, from 4 p.m to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Eurlean was born October 10, 1927 in Milam County to the union of Ulirious and Everlean Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Dan Anderson Sr., husband Fred Phillips Jr., brothers Charles Anderson, and Dan Anderson Jr., sister Ella Mae Wallace, sons Donnie Phillips and Isaac Phillips, daughters Patsy Dickson and Janetta Baldwin, grandsons, Lepolua Dickson Jr. and Travis Phillips Jr., great-granddaughter, Stephanie Dickson.

Eurlean leaves to mourn her passing, sons, Fred Phillips and Travis Phillips, of Lubbock, TX., daughters Carolyn (David) Russell, Pauletta (Bobby Glynn) Adams of Lubbock, TX., Debra Bailey of Fort Worth, TX., and Evelyn (David) Davis, of Austin, TX. 23 Grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 61 great-great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Lawrence Anderson of Lubbock, TX and Burnett Anderson of San Diego, California, sisters, Marian Allen and Jocelyn Clay both of Lubbock, TX., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
