Edward Bogus, 76, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Celebration of life Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at Griffin Mortuary from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Edward was born on February 18, 1948, in Marlin, TX to Daniel Bogus and Josephine Bryant Bogus. Edward was the baby boy of 10 siblings. Edward moved to Lubbock, TX and found the love of his life Bobbie Hicks Bogus, married for 52 wonderful years. Edward and Bobbie Bogus had three children together.

Edward worked for lydick Roofing for many years until he decided to open his own business "Ed's Roofing". Edward loved to roof and helped many people. Edward's hobbies were watching his favorite football team Dallas Cowboys and his baseball team the Yankees. Edward loved to barbecue and he called himself "The greatest of all times".
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and josephine Bogus, three brothers norris, Daniel, Jr., and Chris, four sisters Lorene, Vivian, Doris, and Margie.

Edward leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Bobbie Bogus, his children Deborah Hicks Gormany (Johnny), Keith Bogus (Dawn), and Angela Bogus (Jerrod), his sister LaVerne Sykes (James), his grandchildren Byron Hicks, Brandon Hicks (LaTasha), Brittany Hicks, Shaquille Bogus, Daitron Holloman, Shekinah Holloman, and KeAsia Bogus, his eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Edward will forever be in our hearts, and he is truly missed. memories are all we have and they are great memories.
