Earnestine Stevens

In Loving memory of Earnestine Stevens, whose spirit departed from us on November 21, 2024. Visitations will be held Friday, November 29, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. 

Earnestine was born on May 12, 1955, to Earnest Overstreet and Margie Davis. She was a profound piece in everybody’s story and will continue to be a pillar of strength and love from Heaven. 

Earnestine shared her humor and wisdom with everyone and never said no to a good time. She was a phenomenal cook, who opened her home to anyone wanting a home cooked meal.

Earnestine was the glue that held the family together and her absence leaves a void in our hearts. Though her time has officially come to an end, the depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earnest Overstreet and Margie Davis, her brother Robert Kindred

Earnestine leaves behind her two sons Marvin Overstreet (Michelle) and Christopher Overstreet, Sr. (Rhonda), her grandkids Shavona Davis, Shayne Overstreet, Destiney Overstreet, Meranda Owen, Justin Owen, Mykala Overstreet, Christopher Overstreet, Jr., Zerrius Overstreet, Chrishawnna Overstreet, and Tamia Overstreet with a legacy of warmth and humor, and a host of other relatives and friends.
