Devin Keith Wiggins, 43,passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Matthews Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm at Griffin Mortuary.
Devin Keith Wiggins was born on August 24, 1982 to David Earl Wiggins and Lorine Ellis in Lubbock, Texas. He was born and raised in Lubbock. Graduating from Coronado High School in 2000. He had many jobs in Lubbock from working as a teenager at River Smith, he went to college in Oklahoma for 1 ½ for fashion design. His present job was at davaco for the past 10 years. He met the mother of his only son Trangelo Smith and they were tighter for 8 years. He had a son named Devin Keith Wiggins Jr. in 2007. He later had a relationship with Sherrelle Blown and still with their mom. Devin was a football fanatic. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and also loved the Texas LongHorn. He loved watching all kinds of sports. He loved drinking Bud Beer and shots of whiskey. He also liked to have a little smoke every now and then (smile), Devin was a loving son, who would do anything for his mom (Miss Lorine). He called me T-Jones.
He was a wonderful brother to his older sister, Regina, a loving parent to his son Devin Jr. He had a great relationship with all his uncles, nephews, aunts, and cousins. He would give you the shirt from his back if you asked for it. I will miss my son so much but he is in Heaven with God resting in peace.
Devin is preceded in death by his father David Wiggins, his grandmother Eola Oliver, paternal aunts and uncles Shirley Thompson, Verdell Mitchell, Danny Thompson, and Elroy Lee, maternal aunts and uncles Ethel Williams, Lillie Bonner, Napoleon Baker, M C Hunter, and Willie Hunter, paternal great grandmother Armetha Redman.
Devin leaves behind to cherish his memory, his significant other Sherelle Brown, his mother Lorine Ellis, his paternal grandmother Iris Whitehead, his stepdaughter Desiree Pitts, his son Devin Keith Wiggins Jr., stepson Jermaine Adams, his sister Regina Bell-Cunningham and her husband Montsho, his brother Tyrone Williams, his step grandson Zeke, step granddaughter Armani, his niece Sage Bell, his nephews Brandon Bell (Brandi), Diondre’ Bell (Tori), Zadrian Bell, Dereon Bell, Dallas Bell, and Diondre’ Bell Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends.
