Cheyenne Gardenia Facundo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cheyenne Facundo, who left us too soon on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at the age of 29. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 6th, 2025, at 10 am at Lubbock Dream Center. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, June 5th, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm. at Griffin Mortuary. Born on July 4th, 1995, in Lubbock, Texas. Cheyenne was a vibrant soul, full of life and vight, who touched the hearts of everyone around her.Cheyenne was the beloved daughter of Amelia Duarte and Jesus Holguin.

Cheyenne was a remarkable individual who embraced life with an infectious spirit. She had a love for fashion, especially the Y2K style. She loved doing her makeup and different hairstyles. She loved trying new foods, spending time with her little family. Cheyenne fought bravely against the challenges posed by cystic fibrosis. A battle that ultimately claimed her life. She faces her health struggles with unwavering strength and a spirit that inspired all.

Cheyenne Facundo has left this world, her spirit will live in the hearts of her family and friends. Her laughter, love, and vibrant personality enriched our lives, profoundly, and she will deeply be missed. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at PEACE, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jesse Holguin and her dear grandmother Sofia Dunson.

Cheyenne leaves behind her devoted father Jesus Holguin, her loving husband Victor Facundo, their cherished son Ulyces Facundo, her sister Christian Holguin, her adoring nieces and nephew Ny’Amaris Biera, Zuriyah, Jessalynn, Adelena, Maddy, and Jesse Jr. Holguin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
