Zion Cemetery, Brownfield, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7th, 2025 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Cheryl was born to Johnnie Leonard and Charlene Taulton on May 9th, 1966.
For those who don’t know of her, she was a fun loving and beautiful person. She was big at heart, who loved to talk and joke with. She had a warm heart, but could be mean at times. She loved sports, her Lakers and Dodgers, along with her hot dogs. She grew up in Pasadena, California and came back to Texas at time to visit her grandmother Louise and her cousin alton. Asking her for an old bicycle as she would fight with her brother Leonard for the bicycle that Alton put up for them to ride in the summer.
She loved eating that good old Texas BBQ, sucking her fingers, getting all the bbq off of the, with her cold drinks. She loved working for the City of Pasadena and her coworkers. She had a beautiful life with a big beautiful smile that she had everytime you would see her.
We are going to miss her. Let her lay to rest in our loving Heavenly Father’s arms as we pray.
She is preceded in death by her father Johnnie Leonard Taulton, her mother Charlene Taulton, and her brother Leonard Jerrod Taulton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Damian Taulton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
